Recurring Tasks are tasks that need to be repeated (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) and can be useful for creating reminders.
There are two ways to create a Recurring Task:
Option 1:
You can create a recurring tasks by following the instructions for 'How to create a task' and by setting the frequency of the task to anything other than 'Once Off'.
Option 2:
Click on Tasks in the Main Menu under the Operations heading.
Select the Recurring tasks tab from the top (under the search bar)
Click the Create Recurring Task button in the top left corner.
Write the title of your task.
Select the frequency that this task will be repeated. You can choose from daily, weekly, monthly, yearly or custom. If you select 'Custom Recurrence' you can set the task to never end, end on a particular date, or after a certain amount of occurrences.
Select the priority level of the task. You can choose from low, medium, or high priority.
Select an assignee - this can be a person or a team. You can only select one assignee per task.
Write a description of your task in the Comments box.
Optionally enable 'Add Due Date'. From here, you can select how many minutes, hours, days, weeks, months or years the task will run for.
This is helpful if you only need to do a task for a shorter period of time, for example: Send out August marketing material to new patients.
If you would like to Mention anyone in the Title of the task or the Comments, type @ and begin typing their name.
Click the [Create] button once all necessary fields have been completed
The assignee will get a notification in their profile when it's time to complete the task.
