Getting started with ACC

Before you can start claiming ACC through Principle, there are a number of steps you'll need to complete in order to set up your workspace and begin claiming ACC through Principle.

This article will detail two parts to ensure your Workspace is setup;


External Steps

Firstly, you will need to complete the setup for your practices PFX Keys by completing the below forms:


Once submitted, ACC will process the forms within a couple of days.


Once processed, you’ll then get an email from DigiCert with instructions - Follow the steps in the video link (the first 2 minutes are the important part).

You’ll use the email you registered with and the enrolment code they text you to download your PFX certificate and password.

It is important to note - Some practices have noted they have received their documents via post on a USB stick.


Internal Steps

Once you have received your PFX Keys, you'll need to add these details into Principle.

On the sidebar in Principle, navigate to 'Settings>Integrations' (Practice), and scroll to the ACC titled section:

Here, you will need to complete a number of details and ensure ACC is 'enabled' for your Workspace.

  1. Vendor ID

  2. Provider ID

  3. Upload your PFX Certificate

  4. PFX Passphrase

To configure individual ACC Provider ID's, click into 'Settings>Staff' and enter the details for each provider:

❗It is important to note - In order for ACC to be compatible within Principle, your Practice address will need to be correct within the 'General Settings'.
