You'll need to integrate Tyro into your practice's Principle account so that it can function with the terminal. Only one account holder needs to do this integration for it to be available as a payment method.
Integrating your Tyro terminal with Principle
Steps
1. In the main menu click Settings then find the Practice heading.
2. Click Integrations
3. Find the Tyro Heading
4. Click Pair New Terminal then choose your name, input your Merchant ID and your Terminal ID.

Note: you will need to sign up with Tyro to get your Merchant Id.
βA Terminal ID is unique to each terminal you have at your practice; you can get this from the terminal itself.
5. Click Submit
6. A Pairing Terminal dialogue box will appear. When complete, your terminal will appear under Paired Terminals.
7. If you need to pair your terminal again, click the reload icon. Only one person needs to pair it again for it to work.
8. Tyro will now be available as a payment method.
Authorising POS on your Tyro Terminal
When pairing your Tyro terminal in Principle, if the dialogue box says "In Progress: Please perform the "Authorise POS" function on your terminal", please complete the following steps:

On the Tyro terminal:
Hit the 'Menu' button
Navigate to 'Configuration' and open the 'Integrated EFTPOS' menu.
Input your admin PIN (provided by Tyro)
Select 'Pair with POS'.
A Merchant ID (MID) and Terminal ID (TID) will appear on the screen.
On Principle, ensure that the Merchant ID (MID) and Terminal ID (TID) match.
Click 'Authorise' on the terminal.Wait a few seconds, then hit 'start' on the terminal.
This will pair the Tyro terminal with your Principle account.
Paying with Tyro
1. At checkout, you will be asked which terminal you'll want to do the transaction through. Choose the relevant one.
2. Use the terminal as normal.
