How to check if Principle Bridge is active

To ensure your integrations runs smoothly, remember to have the Principle Bridge App open when using an imaging software, HICAPS or Tyro alongside Principle. If the app is closed, the connection will show as 'Inactive', and you will not be able to link Principle to other softwares.

It's worth noting that the Principle Bridge App is seperate from the Principle software.

To see which computers are connected, simply go to Settings > (Practice) Integrations.

If the App is closed, you can quickly reopen it through your computer's start menu. Once opened, you should see it displayed as shown below:

How to restart Principle Bridge

If the bridge is not working as expected, the first step to troubleshoot will be to close and re-open the bridge.

Closing the app will still have it running in the background. In this case, the bridge needs to be Quit, then re-opened. This can be done by right clicking on the App in the taskbar, and clicking 'Quit'.
