Principle supports Ministry of Health (MOH) workflows for eligible patients, helping automate pricing, form generation, enrolments, prior approvals, and claims.
Before using MOH features, some initial setup is required at both the practice and staff level.
This article will detail two parts to ensure your Workspace is set up;
Practice Setup Requirements
Ensure the following are completed in Practice Settings (Settings>Practice: Integrations):
Payee Number: Your practice's MOH payee number
Agreement Number: Your practice's MOH agreement number
District Health Board Area: Select the DHB area your practice falls under
Form Email Recipients: Configure the email addresses used for MOH functions:
After entering these details, ensure you click 'Save'.
Practitioner Provider Details
Each staff member involved in MOH treatment must have the following added in their Staff Edit page:
DCNZ number
Payee Number
Agreement Number
Navigate to Settings > Brand > Staff.
Select the practitioner you want to configure.
Under MOH Provider Settings, enter:
DCNZ Number: The practitioner's Dental Council of New Zealand registration number
Payee Number: The practitioner's individual payee number (or the practice payee number, depending on your arrangement)
Agreement Number: The practitioner's agreement number
4. Repeat for all Practitioners who will be performing MOH funded treatments.
