If you find a condition or treatment is missing from the default conditions and treatments whilst you are in-appointment, you can quickly add it in without needing to leave the in-appointment workflow.

Adding a new Condition option

If the new/missing Condition does not appear in the drop-down list of the Add Condition box, you can quickly add it in.

  1. Find the Add Conditions box in the Charting Tab of the appointment (1)

  2. Type the name of the new condition into the Add Condition box until the New Condition button appears.

  3. Click on the 'New Condition' button and a window will appear.

  4. The condition name will be pre-filled into the Condition Name line but you can edit this as needed. Click next.

  5. Select a colour and icon for the new condition. This is how the condition will appear when it is charted on the odontogram.

  6. Tick all the areas/surfaces where this condition can be charted.

  7. Tick if you would like the following options to apply:

    • Hide when resolved: the condition will be removed once completed.

    • Disables surface when charted: no other condition or treatment can be charted on the same surface.

    • Repeat icon across tooth surface: the icon will appear on the selected tooth surface.

  8. Click 'Add' to save the new condition.
