Settings > Brand > Automation Configuration
The Automation Configuration page is where we create Automated Tasks and Notifications. These can be configured to be attached to every appointment or specific treatments.
Appointment Level Automations
Automations (Notifications and Tasks) created at the Appointment level will apply to every future appointment. These can still be disabled on a case by case basis but only create Appointment Level Automations for tasks and notifications that you want all appointments to receive. If on a multi-practice workspace, these Appointment Automations can still be differentiated by practice.
Some good examples of Appointment level Automations are:
2-Week Reminder SMS.
2-Day Confirmation with Link SMS.
Thankyou / TLC / Google Review Email.
Treatment Level Automations
Automations listed under the Treatment Tab of the Automation Configuration page will run only when the associated Treatment is booked in/ Carried out.
Some useful examples include:
Medical History Form link SMS: Whenever a New Patient Exam and Clean is carried out or any New Patient Package.
TLC aftercare messages for specific treatments: E.g. "How to take care of an empty socket post extraction".
Treatment Tasks: E.g. "Fabricate Whitening Trays - 2 Hours before appointment".
These Treatment level Notifications and Tasks are can be managed and edited from the Treatment Tab of the Automated Configurations page but are created within the Treatment they are associated with.
