What is the Waiting Status for?

Patients who are ready to be taken in by the clinicians will appear in the 'Waiting' section.

The appointment will show a light blue band (A) within the timeline, indicating that they are 'Checked In' and the text 'Ready for Appointment!' will appear. There are no further actions required by the receptionist in this status.

When the dentist is ready, they will click Start Appointment in the 'Practitioner's Dashboard.' This will move the appointment into the 'Expected Departures' section on your Receptionist Dashboard.
