During the In-Appointment workflow, various Treatment Options can be charted to a patients chart. These could include:
Treatments you are completing in the current appointment,
Treatments to be completed in future appointments,
Proposed Treatments that the patient may or may not decide to carry out.
Some examples of Flagged Treatments added during the In-Appointment Workflow.
All of the Treatment Options charted during an appointment are considered Flagged Treatments. These will be saved in the patient's file as Flagged Treatments until they are organised into a Treatment Plan.
Building Treatment Plans from Flagged Treatments
The Treatment Planning page is accessible from either the In-Appointment workflow or from the Treatment Planning Tab of the Patient Profile:
Flagged Treatments in the Treatment Planning tab of the In-Appointment Workflow.
The Treatment Planning page is divided into two halves with Flagged Treatments on the left and the appointments making up the current Treatment Plan (including the 'In Progress' appointment during the In-Appointment Workflow) on the right.
Each Flagged Treatment has a Drag icon allowing you to click-and-drag the treatment into the appropriate appointment.
Any treatments carried out in today's appointment can be added to todays invoice by simply dragging the Treatment over to the In-progress appointment as shown below:

We can then begin to plan the rest of the patients Flagged Treatments. Click Create New Step to add the next appointment to the Treatment Plan.
Name the new appointment and begin to drag the Flagged Treatments across. Alternatively you can select multiple Flagged Treatments using the checkbox and move them all at once as shown below.
Adding multiple Flagged Treatments to a new step in Treatment Planning.
Flagged Multi-Treatments (Treatments that require more than one appointment to carry out) will have their required steps already separated into appointments within the Multi-Treatment, ready to be added to the Treatment Plan. These steps can either be dragged across to the Treatment Plan individually using the Drag icon or added all at once by clicking "Accept all Steps onto Treatment Plan" as shown below:

The order of steps (appointments) in the Treatment Plan can be re-arranged utilising the Drag icon. The duration of each step will update based on the treatments within but can be edited here. Clicking Enable Scheduling will allow this appointment to be booked in.
Adding Flagged Treatment to a NEW Treatment Plan
There may be occasions where its necessary to add Flagged Treatments to a new Treatment plan rather adding them to the current Treatment Plan. Perhaps the patient has not yet decided whether or not they want the treatment in question or you would like to provide them with multiple options for continued treatment.
To create a New Treatment Plan:
Find and click the Change Plan button towards the top right of the Treatment Planning page.
Click Create New Plan:
Rename the new Treatment Plan and add the desired Treatments or Multi-Treatments as described earlier in this article.
You can create as many Treatment Plans as needed for a patient and switch between them using the Change Plan button. All of the patients' Treatment Plans will be accessible either during the Treatment Planning stage of the In-Appointment Workflow, as shown above, or from the Treatment Planning Tab of the Patient Profile:
