Settings > Brand > Treatment Templates
Principle uses Treatment Templates to make treatments available to your patients to book online as well as for first appointments. These treatments are generally not part of an existing treatment plan.
These Treatment Templates, particularly those made available for online bookings, tend to be fairly generic in nature, e.g. Consultation, Emergency, New Patient Checkup and Clean, etc.
Once a Patient has been in for their initial appointment and you have a better understanding of their dental needs, subsequent appointments should be booked according to their individual Treatment Plans.
Creating a Treatment Template
Navigate to Settings > Brand > Treatment Templates and click Create Treatment Template.
Enter the Name of your Treatment Template.
Price and Duration can be entered or left at 0 to default to the price and duration of the Treatment we will link to.
If you want this Template to be available to your patients to book online, click Available for Booking Online. Learn more about Online Bookings here.
Select which Practices will offer this Treatment.
Select which Staff can perform this Treatment.
For each Staff member selected, a Treatment needs to be linked. The Treatment linked contains all the item codes specific to this type of appointment.:
If needed, different Treatments can be linked to different Practitioners within the same Template.
Click save.
The treatment is now available to book as an appointment.
