Using Appointment Tags

Tag an appointment to see info at a glance - equipment, fee schedules, emergency etc

Tag an appointment to share important information about it such as needed equipment, fee schedules, if it's an emergency etc. These tags are called Appointment Tags and are visible on the Receptionist Dashboard, inside the Appointment Card and the Patient Sidebar in the Timeline.

You can tag equipment information such as CEREC or Happy Gas, so on the day you know what equipment is being used and for when. This will help you prepare for your morning huddle.

Using the Timeline

1) Click Timeline either in the main menu or in the top right corner of the Receptionist Dashboard

3) Click on the Tag Icon on the bottom of the Patient Sidebar

4) Start typing in the tag and click enter on your keyboard.

5) Click Save on the bottom right corner of the Patient Sidebar.

Using Receptionist Dashboard

1) Create the appointment as normal.

2) Notice the TAGS field in step 6, BEFORE you click save.

3) Start typing the tag on the space above the line or click into it to see previously created tags. Select the tag by either clicking it or typing the name and pressing enter.

4) Save the appointment.

OR

1) If the appointment has already been created, you can find the appointment on the Receptionist Dashboard.

Note: Use the Patient Profile to find the date and time of the appointment if it's not in today's books.

2) Click into the Appointment Card

3) Add your tag in the tags field and press enter.

Checking Tags Before Morning Huddle

On the Receptionist Dashboard, Tags will appear on the appointment line per the below image.

They will also appear in the Patient Sidebar
