You can cancel an appointment through The Patient Profile, Receptionist Dashboard or the Timeline
From the Patient Profile
1) Click into the Search bar at the top of thr page and start typing in the name of the patient. Select their profile.

2) Find the appointment under the Upcoming Appointments box on the left side of the screen. To the right, you will see three dots.

3) Click on the three dots to get a drop down of options. At the bottom, you have the option to cancel.

Add the cancellation to the Follow Up list by:
4) Click Cancel and the Cancel Appointment dialogue should appear.
5) Add in the reason why the patient can't make their appointment.
6) The Add to Follow Up button should be turned on.
This ensures that patients are followed-up as per the practitioner's duty of care.
7) Choose a follow up date. A standard timeframe is usually one month.
Type in or select a date from the calendar icon.
* Turning off Add to Follow Up.
If the patient is adamant on not being followed up, you can turn this function off. Be sure to write notes in the text box explaining why this patient does not want to be contacted.
8) Click Submit.
From the Timeline
1) Click Timeline on the right side of the Receptionist Dashboard
2) If not today, find the date of the appointment you wish to cancel by clicking on the calendar icon on the top left of the page
3) Click into the patient's appointment and the sidebar will appear on the right of the screen
4) Click on the 3 dots, then click cancel.
From the Receptionist Dashboard
1) On the Main Menu, click Receptionist Dashboard.

2) If not today, find the date of the appointment you wish to cancel by clicking on the calendar icon on the top right of the page
3) Find the patient's appointment under Expected Arrivals then click on the three vertical dots on the right side of the appointment line to open up the menu.
