An important step in Data Migration between software's is ensuring all your relevant data in your old PMS has somewhere to land in Principle. We do this by giving you an opportunity to link any custom or non-standard item codes or notes you may have created and used in your old PMS to the relevant treatment/condition/note type in Principle. This ensures that we don't leave anything behind and gives you an opportunity to edit or add to your configurations in Principle prior to final migration.

Once we have a backup of your data from your previous PMS and the Implementation Checklist (Initial setup of your Principle workspace) has been completed, we then need to map everything across between the two software's. This includes, Staff and associated records, Fee-Schedules, Treatment Categories, Treatments, Conditions, and non-standard service codes.

Any non-standard or custom item codes you may have used for treatments or notes in your old PMS will need to be mapped across to the relevant treatment or note-type in Principle.

During the Mappings Meeting, we will give you access to a google drive with a collection of spreadsheets for you to check through and make sure everything is being mapped correctly.

Once you are satisfied that all relevant data has been mapped across to Principle, we can start the initial migration using your confirmed mappings.
