The Patient's Profile page contains all the important information about them.

From here you can view their: profile, account details, medical history, charting history, and appointment history.

Use the patient profile to verify and update your patient's information.

The Patient's Profile includes:

To find any patient's profile, click into the Search bar at the top of the page, and a drop-down menu should appear. Start typing in the name of the patient and select their name.

Profile Tab

The Profile Tab includes:

  1. Patient Details, including:

    • Medical history alerts - indicates whether the patient needs to update their medical history form or if filled out, indicates patient's medical alerts.

    • Patient Tags: can be used to relay information related to a patient that you might want pinned such as "Anxious Patient", "Gagger."

  2. Any Lab Jobs pending for this patient.

  3. Any Tasks that have been generated in relation to this patient.

  4. Quick Actions Menu:

    • SMS or Email the patient directly from Principle.

    • Create a Patient Note.

    • Edit the Patient Details.

    • Create a New Appointment.

  5. Interaction Timeline -All interactions with the the patient will be listed in the interaction timeline, use the filters to refine results.

  6. Any Upcoming Appointments will be listed here.

Interaction Timeline

You can filter through the Interaction Timeline by selecting one or more of the following filters:

  • Patient

  • Appointment

  • Gap

  • Payment

  • Email

  • SMS

  • Call

  • Task

  • Lab jobs

  • Clinical Notes

Account Tab

From the Account tab you can create, edit, view and pay an invoice, as well as add account credits.

Medical History Tab

From the Medical History tab you can view the patient's past medical history forms. You also can add or update medical history forms by clicking the 'Update Medical History' button.

Charting History Tab

From the Charting History tab you can view the patient's Charting History from previous appointments, including all charted conditions and treatments.

  • A new chart is automatically created when a new appointment is created.

  • Older Charts are locked once a new Chart is available.

To view a specific Chart, select the date/time from the column on the left side of the page.

Appointments Tab

From the Appointments tab you can view the history of a patient's past and upcoming appointments.

Complete appointments can be reopened from here if you need to make amendments.

Treatment Plans Tab

The Treatment Plans Tab displays any past or current treatment plans made for this patient and their progress.

Clicking on the Treatment Plan's name will open the plan to view and edit the individual Treatment Steps/Appointments within the plan:

Automations Tab

Automations are tasks or notifications (SMS/email) that can be triggered immediately, before, or after an appointment. Automations can be configured for all appointments, specific treatments, or during Checkout.

From the Automations tab of the patient Profile, you can view and manage any automations associated with that patient.

Documents Tab

The Documents Tab allows you to utilise document templates and create referral letters, recalls, prescriptions, doctor's certificates and other documents for the patient.

Files Tab

The Files tab contains the patients photographs, x-rays, referrals, letters, consent forms, instructions, or anything else you choose to store here.

  • To upload a file, you can 'drag & drop' the file over to the box or click the 'choose a file' button.

  • You can also add tags and an expiry date to the file by clicking on file.
